Help

• Turn the sound on. Every Japanese line is spoken, and on the inn's third day the request is only spoken.
• Read Kon's line, then answer below it. On a phone the page scrolls to the answer area by itself once Kon has finished. Tap Kon's line to skip ahead.
• Not sure what to do? Tap ? How to answer above the answers.
• Tap a word with a dotted underline to see its reading and meaning.
• Wrong answers are fine. The words you miss come back at the end of a day or a shift so you can get them right.

Android (Chrome)

Open the game, then tap Install app on the title screen. If it does not appear, use the ⋮ menu → Install app.

iPhone (Safari — not Chrome)

Open the game in Safari, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.

Computer (Chrome or Edge)

Open the game and click the install icon at the right of the address bar.

Once installed it opens like an app and works with no signal.

Your progress is saved in that browser on that device only. Clearing browsing data deletes it, and iPhones can clear an unused web app's data on their own.

To keep a copy: on the title screen open Menu → Save data → Export save. Import save puts it back, on the same device or another one.

• "A new version is available." Tap Update now. Your progress is kept.
• Looks old or stuck after an update: title screen → Menu → Force reload (clear cache). Your progress is kept.
• No sound: check the phone is not on silent, then tap the speaker button next to Kon's line.
• Want to start again: title screen → Menu → Start over. This deletes your progress, so export it first if you might want it back.

Post it on the feedback board. Please include the build number from the title screen's Menu (for example "build v494") and, if you can, a screenshot of the whole screen.
